The Rival is a boutique hotel with it's own cinema located in the heart of Stockholm, S????????dermalm. The hotel is shaped by the vision of its owner ? Benny Andersson ? who wanted to recapture the glamour of the hotel from when it original opened as the Aston hotel in the 1930s. In addition to the Rival Cinema there are bars, a bistro, a cafe and a bakery. In short, it?s an ideal meeting place on the city?s most beautiful square, Mariatorget. An exciting choice for business travellers and tourists visiting Stockholm.

Directions

Arlanda Airport:

Leave the airport and follow the E4 towards Stockholm. When approaching the outskirts of the city follow signs for S&ouml;dermalm until you reach a bridge where you can see the old town on your left hand side. Stay on the right lane of the bridge and do not proceed into main tunnel. Follow signs for Nacka/Hornstall. Turn right and you will leave S&ouml;derleden. Turn left at the traffic lights on S&ouml;dernalarstraad follow signs towards Hornstall. Continue along the Harbour until the first traffic lights. Proceed in the left lane and up the street leaving S&ouml;denalarstraad. Turn left at the next traffic lights and continue two blocks. Turn right. You are now on Mariatorget. You will see the hotel on the opposite side of the market square. Welcome to the Hotel Rival.

We????????re particularly proud of our stylishly appointed bathrooms with their beautiful mosaic walls. Our decorators worked hard to create hotel rooms with a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. IN ALL ROOMS: Wireless and wired broadband internet access, 32-inch Sony plasma-screen TVs, DVD/CD players, minibar, hairdryer, iron and ironingboard, trouserpress, and safe. In all the bathrooms there are telephones, as well as speakers.Round-the-clock services include laundry, shoeshine, all-day breakfast, valet parking and room service. Instead of the traditional pay-TV system we offer a movie library of DVDs from which guests can choose.
